Action Indoor sport will be running action netball leagues over the summer we currently have spaces in our Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Mixed leagues and Monday and Wednesday ladies only league . Umpires:
Is it feasable to get mpires that are not from teams in your division, aty most venues you have at lease 2 games on at the same time, so the umpires alloted in the current way, can they not umpire the other division court. This way the umpires have no interest in the division or the teams so would umpire the game on what happens before them.
It has to be said that in recent weeks the umpiring has been getting worse and worse, to the point of 'whats the point'. It is making the game not very enjoyable at the moment, it is a very sad state.
i just theink that completely impartial umpires would be the best way forward.
just my views and mine alone, nothing to do with my club, just me.
